On June 7 2019, Research Team of Climate Research and Application held seminar on the topics of ENSO prediction, extreme climate events forecast, model development and application, AI forecast, hurricane forecast and research. Director and Prof. Luo Jingjia and team core member prof. Yuan Chaoxia hosted the seminar. Academician and prof. Yamagata from Tokyo University, and Prof. Liang Xiangsan and prof. Zhang Guosheng from NUIST attended the seminar and gave valuable insights and suggestions to the topics presented by team members.
