Delegation from University of Toronto visits ICAR/NUIST

On October 13, 2019, vice President of the University of Toronto (UOT) and Prof. William Gough, vice President of the International Geological and Hydrologic Society and Prof. Ken Howard, and Benny Xie, PhD candidate of climate laboratory of UOT visited NUIST to discuss and promote the intercollegiate cooperation. 

Party Secretary of NUIST and Prof. Guan Zhaoyong, vice Dean of the School of Atmospheric Sciences and Prof. Zhang Wenjun, vice Dean and Prof. Yuanxing and Prof. Yin Jun from the School of Hydrology and Water Resources, Director of ICAR/NUIST and National Distinguished Prof. Luo Jingjia, faculty and students attended the exchange meeting. Prof. Luo Jingjia hosted the meeting.

The two parties exchanged their experience in science research and talent cultivation, and signed MoU on future cooperation. A preliminary agreement on bilateral scientific research cooperation, academic exchange and joint training has been reached. This meeting officially opened a new chapter of substantial cooperation between NUIST and UOT in the fields of atmosphere, climate science, hydrology and meteorology.
