The Institute for Climate and Application Research (ICAR), affiliated with the School of Atmospheric Sciences at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST), carries out advanced researches on climate dynamics, climate model development, climate prediction and projection, climate application and disaster warning. The ICAR and the Application Laboratory of Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (APL/JMASTEC) has newly established a long-term cooperation relationship in the field of climate, the prediction of climate variability and its application for social benefits.
